Bensalem homes with Kyle Keenan

Bensalem is the first big Bucks County township north of the city line, and Kyle has both listed and closed homes here, from a one-floor ranch to a $440K sale.

What the homes are like

Most of the single-family housing is mid-century: ranches, split-levels and Cape Cods on lots large enough for a driveway and a fenced yard. Townhome and condo communities fill in around the main roads.

One-floor homes on corner lots, like the June Avenue listing, turn up in the older sections. Lot size and the age of the roof and heating system tend to separate the houses more than layout does.

Getting around

I-95 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike both run through the township, and Street Road and Bristol Pike (US-13) are the main local routes. Parx Casino and Neshaminy Mall are the largest destinations.

SEPTA Regional Rail on the Trenton Line stops at Cornwells Heights and Eddington. The school district is Bensalem Township School District.
